The applicant, by himself/herself or through a licensee, or by himself/herself and through a licensee, intends to use the trade-mark in Canada in association with the trademark MediSign® which is the registered trade-mark for a series of stainless steel platforms that are used for the transfer of data by means of magnetic pictograms in the health care industry. The platforms are located at the entrance to a patient's or resident's room, and/or inside the room, in a health care facility. By use of the magnetic pictograms placed on the platforms, which display various procedures and requirements for each individual under care, data can be transferred to staff and patients/residents without the use of words. The words "a picture of health" will be displayed under the trade-mark MediSign® and requests registration of the trade-mark in respect of such wares.

The applicant, by himself/herself or through a licensee, or by himself/herself and through a licensee, intends to use the trade-mark in Canada in association with the registered trade-mark MediSign®. The intent of MediSign® is to aid in the reduction and elimination of injuries to staff and clients alike. It also assists in the transfer of data to persons of different languages or with speech or hearing impairments. "A picture is worth a thousand words" in any language". The words "a picture of health" will be displayed under the trade-mark MediSign® and requests registration of the trademark in respect of such services.
