Together with the name, there is a design logo that is a star with the letters MTL in the center of the star.

The service involves the sponsorship, selection and presentation of awards to recognize the achievements of people in the arts and sports (who were born in or lived their formative years in the Greater Montreal area). These people will get a Diploma, a Star Plaque and a star in a sidewalk in the Greater Montreal area.
