The massologist will apply the massage that is appropriate to the person consulting him. He will explain to the beneficiary the methods taken and why he has chosen them. He knows very well the human anatomy and physiology, the complex functioning or the various organs and systems of the human body, the cellular metabolism and the functioning of the articulations and muscles. He knows as well the way to equilibrate and harmonize them in order that the results for the beneficiary be one of a salutary relief and well-being. He also has a detailed knowledge of naturopathy, kinesiology, kinesitherapy, osteopathy, pathology and pathogeny of the Chinese medicine. He thoroughly knows as well the course of the meridians in the oriental medicine, which are essential in acupressure. N.B.: Do not mix up with acupuncture. The acupressure and/or massupressure is generally done with the fingers, the finger joints, the elbows and the palm of the hands on the specific course and points of the principal and secondary meridians. The massologist is qualified to teach all the methods of massage and intervention that he knows. He also has the knowledge and the training to direct people to a healthy way of life, in giving them good advises about nutrition and good physical shape. The intervention of the massologist has the purpose of relieving the pain of the person consulting him. The massologist will not denigrate, criticize or replace the methods of the modern and official medicine. In case of doubt, he will direct the beneficiary to a professional of the health.
